BAR T BAR SOD FARM,  established in 1984, is Northern Arizona's oldest and largest turf farm.  Our company provides unsurpassed quality sod and customer service, earning us a superb reputation among homeowners, landscape contractors and nursery owners.

We provide service to sports fields, golf courses, city parks, as well as, commercial & residential construction throughout all of Northern Arizona. Ask about our 42" big rolls for larger projects with open areas.

Our sod is developed from carefully chosen and customer tested blends of grasses.  These blends are ideally suited to thrive in the high country's varying climatic conditions, from Spring's dehydrating winds, Summer's intense mid day sun and dry periods and Winter's bitter cold and heavy accumulation of snow.  From Bar T Bar Sod Farm you get climatized turf-sod grown in Northern Arizona for Northern Arizona.

We've never believed in the concept of "Prescott Blend" for every application as no one variety of sod can be expected to perform equally in shade and sun, high traffic and low.  With this in mind we offer at Bar T Bar: a Bluegrass Blend - this low growing dwarf type turf was developed for minimum maintenance, mowing and water use, as well as improved resistance to disease.  It is excellent for recreational use and extensive traffic.  A Fescue Blend - developed for heat tolerance, dense coverage and moderate traffic use.  A Bluegrass/Fescue/Ryegrass Mix suitable for shade areas, mild winters and low to moderate traffic use.  When you choose the appropriate variety, you can be assured success.

With your first call, our courteous and Knowledgeable staff can help guide you in the selection of a sod variety that will be ideally suited to your landscaping needs.  We can also advise you on the proper installation, use and care of your sod.

When you place your order, our experienced field crew can harvest your order in one of two roll sizes.  The standard seven square foot roll is ideal for homeowners and landscapers on those smaller projects.  For those large commercial jobs, our contractors are using Bar T Bar Big Roll.  With this efficient 400 square foot roll they are installing up to 8,000 square feed per hour with two crew members.
